Complete Control
The RD-6 is equipped with a 64-step drum sequencer that can switch between 32 different rhythm patterns in real time. It is also possible to build up a song on the fly and edit it at will. You can also freely mix the eight drum sounds by adjusting the dedicated level knob. The RD-6 also features the venerable distortion circuit.
With the switch on, the amount and tone of distortion can be adjusted to add spice and edge to the sound. Each rhythm pattern can also be edited as a song with up to 256 bars. This allows you to create 8:30 minute beats perfect for jamming without stopping the groove.
USB Control
A USB port for sync and MIDI triggering has been added to connect the RD-6 to modern equipment. This allows the RD-6 to be controlled by a DAW, etc., allowing you to swap songs and patterns at will and trigger individual sounds.

The RD-6 has a functional layout of 11 knobs and 26 buttons for intuitive beat making. Inputs and outputs include individual voice-out jacks for open and closed hi-hat, clap, cymbal, low tom, high tom, snare, and bass drum. Start/stop can also be controlled with a foot pedal.
A USB port for connection to DAWs and other devices and 5-pin MIDI in, out, and through jacks are also provided for easy connection to modern equipment.
