After over a decade of development, the folks at Hive Mind (AKA - The Killer Bee Relay Team and Friends) have come up with a solution for those dark TR-505 displays.  All you'll need is your TR-505, a screwdriver, and a soldering setup.  This can also be used to add a backlight even if your screen isn't terrible!

This listing is for the backlight kit (backlight with connector wire and 2 elastomeric strips) - it does not include the LCD screen or drum machine.
