A multi-effect that allows you to freely change the tone is an indispensable function for live performances using a sampler. The SPD-SX is equipped with a total of 3 multi-effects systems, including 2 systems that can be set for each kit, plus a master effect for the final stage. Switch the effect with the four buttons [FILTER], [DELAY], [S.LOOP (short looper)], and [FX] on the panel, and then just turn the two control knobs. Pursuing ease of use for live performances. Of course, you can assign your favorite effect from the multi-effects to [FX]. Simple and intuitive operation allows for varied and effective performances.

With a USB connection to a computer, the SPD-SX can be used even more flexibly. Supports USB audio that can directly sample the playback sound of a computer. Sound from web browsers and media players (video/music) can be imported as is, greatly increasing the degree of freedom in sampling. Also included as standard is the dedicated software "SPD-SX Wave Manager" (compatible with both Windows and Mac) that allows you to import audio data (WAV/AIFF) from your computer into the SPD-SX. In addition to importing, you can also manage samples by assigning samples to pads, renaming, and grouping. In addition, it also supports USB MIDI, which can be used as a MIDI input pad for music production software, making full use of its capabilities in the music production scene.
