Simplicity 2934 Vintage 1949 Child’s Blouse Sz 6 Cut/Used, Missing Piece
Used pattern. Missing Piece E (Waistline Stay.) All other pieces are included and are in usable condition. Most pieces have extra folding and pin holes. Pieces B and C have a small tear. Original general instructions are included and have yellowing and small holes. Envelope is in poor condition and has wear including: yellowing, stains, tears at all the edges, and pieces of it are missing including the flap.
"A front yoke, outlined with ruffling, is a feature of the back-buttoned blouse. The sleeves are gathered at the upper edge and held in with an elastic casing at the lower edge which releases a ruffle. Style 1 has a contrasting collar and self-fabric ruffles on the yoke and long sleeves. The neckband in Style 2 is finished with a bias bow. Embroidered edging trims the neck, yoke, and three-quarter sleeves. In Style 3 the yoke is cut of embroidered fabric. Lower edges of the yoke and puffed sleeves are finished with embroidered edging.”
[Patterns come from a smoke free home and were inherited from my grandmother-in-law who sewed for her family. I sew a great deal, but cannot possibly make use of all that I was given. Each pattern has been described as accurately as possible and photos of the pattern, envelope, and instructions have been provided. Patterns are sealed in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and will be shipped in a cardboard large-envelope type mailer.]
