This vintage Advance pattern #5789 for a Girl's 2-piece Suit is not dated but the envelope style and number indicate a date circa
1952.
The pattern is a Child's Size 8, Breast 26 inches.
The Suit Jacket is fitted, with a collar. You have a choice of cuffed long sleeves or three-quarter length sleeves. The circular Skirt is flared.
Patterns of this era were factory cut and unlined. Holes and notches are used to line up the pieces (easier than it sounds).
