Vogue 2483 Girl size 22 Head, Hat Wardrobe Sewing Pattern, Vintage 50s Fashion

Vogue 2483 is a 50s pattern for little girl's hats, head size 22. This vintage pattern has some wear but is so interesting. I don't see a date printed on this pattern, but saw it in my friend's 1953 Vogue pattern catalog.
There are four hat styles in the pattern, and the terminology is different from today. The "calot" is basically a bias-cut, four-section beanie with no brim (view A). View B is a hood style cap that buttons onto a garment. It features a wide, turned back cuff around the face. View C is a three-sectioned cap with a wide brim and bow trim. View D is a six-section style with a snap brim and a hat band all around.
This pattern is cut and lightly used, in overall good, usable condition, although somewhat fragile. Notice in the photos the minimal markings on the pattern pieces, as was the custom in those days. It's rare to find patterns of this age in excellent condition, so I consider them more for collecting than sewing. However I believe you could use this pattern carefully. Originally it retailed for 35 cents.
